2023 Scout Games
August 11 – 13, 2023
Our 2023 Scout Games will consist of six different sessions 40 athletes maximum per session. Each athlete will attend only one (1) session. This format allows for the coaches to focus on a smaller number of players at a time and maximize the exposure for each individual.
Each session will consist of:
- Live Game
- Pitcher Only/Two Way Players will throw to 5 total batters per inning.
- Two Position players will only be guaranteed appearance at their primary position
- Hitters will get a minimum of 3 Plate Appearances
- Modified Pro Style Workout
- Throw from position
- Batting Practice
- 60 Time
- Position Skill Instruction
- Recruiting Q & A for parents/guardians
Rates are as follows:
PLEASE NOTE RATES INCREASE BY $25 FOR EACH OPTION on AUGUST 1, 2023.
- Pitcher only $100 for 1 inning OR $175 for 2 innings (max of two (2) innings)
- One Position only $200
- Two Positions $225
- Pitcher/Position One (1) Inning – $275
- Pitcher/Position Two (2) Innings – $350
- Pitcher/2 Position One (1) Inning – $300
Rapsodo/Metric Report Add On
All coaches in attendance will receive a copy of the Rapsodo/Metric Report for every player.
If you would like a copy of your report, they are available as an optional add on for $50. Be sure to check the box to add this when you register.
*** These reports are only available to registrants who sign up before August 1, 2023. ***
The report includes the following information:
Pitchers – The pitchers report will include Velocity, Spin Rate, Spin Axis, Spin Efficiency, Horizontal/Vertical Break, Release Height and Coaches Evaluation
Position Players – The position players report will include metrics for hitting, arm strength, speed/agility and Coaches Evaluation
- Hitting – Exit Velocity, Avg Launch Angle, spin rate, max distance
- Arm Strength – Velocity from position (Stalker PROII)
- Speed/Agility – 60 times and Shuttle Run
- In addition to the metric evaluation each report will also include a coaches assessment/evaluation of the player
Emmanuel College Baseball Field
The baseball field is accessed easiest by entering the campus on Turner Street off of West Main Street. Then turn right on Aaron Street and there is parking in front of and across from the White Athletic Building. There is additional parking next to the tennis courts. The field can also be accessed along with additional parking by continuing on Aaron Street and turning left onto Byon Jones Street.
* NOTE: Parking below the baseball field on Byon Jones Street increases the possibility that your automobile may be hit with baseballs fouled out of play. BLK Baseball is not responsible for damages or loss incurred while participating in camps or showcases.
Hotels & Accommodations
The closest hotel accommodations are located in Commerce, GA or in Lavonia, GA. Both cities are about 1/2 hour drive from the Emmanuel College Campus and Baseball Field.
Inclement Weather Plan
In the event that there is rain or severe weather, we will use the Franklin County High School indoor baseball facility.
